About The Position

The Specialist, Systems Engineer will work within the ISR Networks Systems team across programs including Global Hawk, Triton, Hawklink, and P-8A. The role focuses on requirements and system design from contract inception through product delivery and sustainment. The schedule is a 9/80 arrangement: employees work nine days in each 14-day period, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; other engineering disciplines are accepted with Systems Engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or another related engineering discipline.
• Experience working in Systems Engineering and with engineering processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using EVMS as a Control Account Manager.
• Experience working on DoD contracts.
• Experience working in a lab setting and performing design verification testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems-level technical support to the Program Manager and Program Engineer.
• Define and verify system-level requirements.
• Create work product documentation, including system and lower-level specifications, Interface Control Documents, block diagrams, and interconnect diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot products in a lab environment.
• Use the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to manage the cost and schedule of engineering tasking.
