About The Position

The Systems Engineer – Specialist will work within the ISR Networks Systems team across programs such as Global Hawk, Triton, Hawklink, and P-8A. The role focuses on requirements and system design from contract inception through product delivery and sustainment. The position follows a 9/80 schedule: employees work 9 out of 14 days, totaling 80 hours, and have every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; other engineering disciplines are accepted with Systems Engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
• Experience working in Systems Engineering and with engineering processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with EVMS as a Control Account Manager.
• Experience working on Department of Defense contracts.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting and performing design verification testing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager and Program Engineer with systems-level technical support.
• Define and verify system-level requirements.
• Produce work product documentation, including system- and lower-level specifications, Interface Control Documents, block diagrams, and interconnect diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot products in a laboratory environment.
• Use the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to manage the cost and schedule of engineering tasking.
