About The Position

Are you ready to be on the front lines of keeping Walmart’s global operations informed and protected? As a Specialist on our Crisis Support team, you will be a critical first responder—monitoring incidents around the clock, communicating vital information to key stakeholders, and supporting the systems that protect Walmart associates, customers, and facilities. The Crisis Support team operates continuously to monitor and report critical incidents worldwide, including infrastructure challenges, security concerns, and natural events. This team is essential in protecting associates, assets, and company reputation by coordinating prompt responses and managing security operations. Working closely with internal and external partners, the team ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Their expertise supports emergency management, security oversight, and investigative activities, fostering a secure environment aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in 911 dispatch/call-taking, call center operations, receptionist, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of hire.
  • Successful completion of any new core components (or re-certification requirements) of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy during employment.
  • 1 years’ experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a business intelligence tool (e.g., Oracle, Tableau, Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis, or data visualization techniques.
  • Experience using SQL or similar query languages to retrieve, merge, and clean data from multiple sources.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in statistics, information systems, criminal justice, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Analytics - Big Data, Data Analysis and Insights, Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and intake daily incidents reported by facilities; communicate critical information to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain and uphold department standards for response metrics and customer service level expectations.
  • Assist with investigations by analyzing emerging facts, trends, data, and potential impacts to Walmart operations.
  • Create departmental reports including emergency alerts, situational summaries, and data summaries for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Fulfill requests for information from various partners including the Legal Department, Human Resources, and external agencies.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures, upholding Walmart’s standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Support the implementation of business solutions through continuous feedback, testing, and adherence to quality assurance processes.
