The Project Specialist partners with Nike Store Construction, cross functional teams, and external vendors to support projects from pre-design through store opening. Reporting to the Project Administration Manager, the role supports new store initiatives and store reinvestment efforts alongside Nike Project Managers. The Project Specialist must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced construction environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the confidence to work across cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders while managing competing priorities. The Specialist is expected to track scopes, budgets, schedules, and approvals across multiple projects that may be in different construction phases at the same time. Success in this role depends on strong financial acumen, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, as priorities and requirements frequently change. The candidate must be comfortable working with ambiguity, managing detailed processes such as proposals, legal intake, purchase orders, invoicing, and project closeout. Individuals who struggle with changing priorities, financial tracking, follow-through, or cross-functional coordination are unlikely to be successful in this role.
