Specialist - Quality Control (Advanced Quality)
About The Position
Support Advanced Quality Improvement department goals and objectives by coordinating, testing, and evaluating trial vehicles and parts related to software development in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role involves completing Issue Investigations and providing feedback for overall vehicle & controller design improvements. Key functions include coordinating and tracking Engineering Order and Model Change testing, improving software quality through systems analysis, participating in benchmark activities, gathering data, testing, and monitoring software in new and current model production, evaluating vehicles and new technology, conducting trials and investigations, participating in complex issue investigations related to infotainment/ADAS systems, analyzing software coding and data, creating evaluation reports, attending meetings, and complying with BMS, EMS, and SMS requirements.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
- Able to analyse software coding and data to improve controller to controller interaction.
- Capable of working with various analysis equipment: INCA, CAN BUS analyzer.
- MS Word, Excel, & Powerpoint
- C+, C++

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track Engineering Order and Model Change testing activities with related departments.
- Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in controller interaction.
- Participate in Benchmark activities of competitor vehicles.
- Gather data, test, and monitor software related in new & current model production.
- Evaluate vehicles and new technology at each stage of the New Model Process.
- Conduct Key Engineering Order trials, testing, and investigation activities.
- Participate in complex issue investigations related to software in respect to infotainment / ADAS system and develop recommended countermeasures.
- Create and present evaluation activity reports.
- Attend required meetings.
- Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
