About The Position

Entarian is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join their team as part of the Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) system and software engineering support project which will support the United States Navy. The position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Requirements

  • Active US Top Secret level clearance with SCI eligibility
  • High school diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience with a combination of Quality and safety standards, Solving technical problems, Trained in engineering and/or software design and maintenance, CAD and shop drawing ability, and hands-on software development and maintenance experience
  • 2 years' experience with DoD C4ISR, maintenance, logistics or business systems, covering 3 of 5 areas: systems requirements, operational requirements, data analysis, test & evaluation, training
  • Recognized expert with demonstrated industry or public service leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software quality assurance, requirements-based testing, defect lifecycle management, audit-ready evidence, and continuous process improvement.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools or methods, data analysis, test procedures, CAD/drawing review, and configuration-controlled documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, objective reporting, and ability to communicate quality findings constructively.
  • Experience leading multi-team quality or test efforts and briefing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect work products, services, processes, and test evidence to assess conformance with defined quality, safety, and technical requirements.
  • Support testing and evaluation of software, systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Document results, defects, corrective actions, and verification evidence.
  • Review plans, drawings, specifications, and technical artifacts; contribute to design/fabrication of test specimens or shop drawings where applicable.
  • Apply practical engineering and software-maintenance knowledge to identify quality risks and recommend process or product improvements.
  • Support quality activities for C4ISR, maintenance, logistics, or business-system work; contribute across at least three of the five stated areas: systems requirements, operational requirements, data analysis, test and evaluation, and training.
  • Demonstrate recognized leadership in supporting information-technology solutions in industry or public service.
  • Provide key-personnel continuity and senior quality leadership for assigned work.
  • Advise Government and contractor leadership on quality posture, systemic risk, and corrective actions.
