This role will be part of revolutionizing the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by optimizing SAP-driven assembly line workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with SAP, specifically in modules related to materials management (MM), production planning (PP), or warehouse management (WM / EWM).
  • Knowledge of SAP systems as they relate to the in-house logistics material flow environments is critical.
  • Minimum 5 years in in-house logistics or material flow within an OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.
  • Strong understanding with Supermarket JIT/JIS Line Feeding production processes, parts, and materials used in automotive manufacturing.
  • Experience with analyzing and redesigning material flow processes for efficiency.
  • Experience implementing lean tools (Kaizen, 5’s, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong SAP Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP, especially in modules such as SAP MM, PP, and WM, as well as experience with SAP reporting and data management tools.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and optimize processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues related to data management or discrepancies in reference data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to system updates, process improvements, or SAP enhancements, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, especially when managing data entry and ensuring the accuracy of reference data in SAP.
  • Results-Oriented: A strong focus on achieving measurable results, including data accuracy, operational efficiency, and process improvements.
  • Adaptable: Ability to adapt to evolving business needs, system upgrades, and changes in production schedules.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, production, supply chain, and procurement.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP certifications or process optimization certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
  • Advance knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and logistics optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current SAP-driven assembly line workflows for picking, kitting, and delivery operations.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Configure and optimize SAP processes for material staging, supermarket operations, and line-side delivery.
  • Ensure accurate inventory transactions and data integrity within SAP.
  • Design and maintain efficient material handling processes aligned with OEM production schedules.
  • Support layout planning for material storage and delivery points.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for SAP-based picking, kitting, and delivery processes.
  • Document processes change and provide training to relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive Digitalization initiatives for real-time material tracking and process transparency.
  • Work closely with production, logistics, IT, and quality teams to align SAP processes with operational goals.
  • Coordinate with OEM partners to ensure compliance with delivery and quality standards.
  • Track KPIs such as picking accuracy, kitting cycle time, line delivery performance, and SAP transaction accuracy.
  • Use data-driven insights to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
