About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring for a Specialist Oncology Clinical Ops for our Cancer Center. This position serves as a physician liaison, facilitates effective communication with referring health care professionals, and eases access to system services. It is responsible for reporting key statistics such as WRVUs, patient satisfaction scores, Epic proficiency, physician schedules, and productivity. The role also shares information and promotes utilization of Medical Staff resources and compliance. This position will manage the physician practice operations of SEH Cancer Care.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Five (5) years of experience in physician relations, network development, medical office, or a similar role in hospital marketing, medical affairs, or business development.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular visits with physicians, serving as a resource for timely issue resolution and information sharing.
  • Physician reporting to include but not limited to: Worked RVUs, Productivity measures, Patient satisfaction scores, Associate engagement, Timely documentation/closing encounters, Timely charge entry.
  • Responsible for the relationships between the hospital, employed physician organization and community-based private practice physician groups.
  • Manage physician schedules.
  • Develop, promote and maintain professional relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Design/implement efficient services, offer revenue enhancements, monitor expenses, benchmark, encourage service excellence and provide effective communications.
  • Delegate and check daily assignments.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks and projects within the department.
  • Ensure physicians have tools required to carry out day to day operation.
  • Assures physicians are scheduled for and receive all education and training related to Epic upgrades/changes.
  • Enters providers’ Expense Reports in Workday.
  • Coordinates provider led symposiums.
  • Enters Cancer Center Directors’ Expense Reports in Workday.
  • Plan and execute provider collaboration events.
  • Create yearly inpatient rounding schedule for both MDs and APRNs.
  • Enters rounding and call schedule into QGenda and maintains any changes.
  • Closes/Open EPIC templates according to rounding/call schedule.
  • Completes APRN timecards weekly ensuring accurate PTO entry.
  • Coordinate interview of APP and provider candidates.
  • Assist Medical Affairs with onboarding activities of new Medical Staff members including hospital tours and attendance at new provider meetings / events for all SEP employed and contracted providers.
  • Support credentialing activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
