About The Position

Join a team that brings Nationwide’s investment story to life. As a Marketing Specialist supporting the Investment Management Group, you’ll help power quarter-end performance updates and create timely, compelling content that equips financial professionals with clear, market-relevant insights. In this role, you’ll partner across marketing and business teams to turn complex investment information into polished materials, keep high-visibility deliverables moving, and help IMG show up with consistency, speed and impact. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced execution, strong collaboration and work that directly supports business growth. The primary function will be to activate Nationwide’s Institutional Investments Distribution (IID) channel growth strategy including product marketing communications, sales enablement, webinars/events and digital experiences.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 6 required within 120 days of hire.
  • 3+ years relevant financial services experience (marketing, product management. Distribution. Working knowledge of investments (mutual funds, VITs, ETFs) and financial intermediary markets.
  • Digital / email marketing experience (campaigns, journeys, website content management)
  • Proven experience with other core areas of contribution including project management, communications skills, attention to detail, etc.
  • Bachelor level studies in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Series 6 license (or similar certification required within 120 days of employment. Series 7 will likely be required in the future.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, financial services industry and investment products including regulatory framework/environment.
  • Knowledge of product and marketing content distribution methods.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate level studies in marketing, business administration or related field helpful.
  • Tableau, Salesforce and Marketing Cloud related experience/ skills highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Work across a dynamic, cross-functional team to update a portfolio of content with new performance data and market insights to balance quality of content with publishing efficiency
  • Contribute to marketing campaign and positioning strategies by supporting Senior Consultants across the team with IMG priorities
  • Build relationships with matrix partners to drive efficiencies and align on priorities
  • Enhance NF.com and Nationwide.com working with Digital, internal agency and other stakeholders to view the experience through the lens of the customer.
  • Maintain and update site content, continually audit the experience to ensure we deliver value and make it easy to business.
  • Use SEO, usage and page performance data to drive optimized experience and impact.
  • Provide hands-on support producing and delivering a high volume of investment product marketing materials (as an integral member of a high-performance team), including fact sheets, pitch books, sales ideas and commentaries as well as websites updates
  • Manage essential sales support resources and forums such as Seismic, weekly sales leadership calls, field communications, resource (such as calendars and internal communications) to make it easy for Sales and optimize the partnership.
  • Develop strategies and execute plans in partnership with distribution that support client retention and development through marketing delivered a marketing-driven touchpoint and treatment programs.
  • Partner with Strategic Accounts, Institutional Investments distribution and other stakeholder to develop and launch a recommended list marketing program that engages advisors at select firms on investment and fund content related to our recommended fund placements.
  • Lead, collaborate and support an array of projects as they surface. Areas of focus may include marketing planning, scorecard and measurement, media mix/strategy, content/materials creation, materials usage analysis and more.
  • Managing department budget, participation on enterprise project teams and innovation initiatives.
