About The Position

This role assists and implements the overall development and execution of marketing strategies. The Specialist will coordinate various marketing tactics for execution and work with internal teams and external vendors to achieve business results. The position involves influencing large marketing investment spend, driving business growth and profitable results using best-in-class marketing technology. The role also involves assisting in the development and execution of strategies and plans for long-term sustainable business growth, synthesizing data to support innovation, and completing moderate to complex projects with shifting priorities. It also includes assisting with the implementation of digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, collaborating on creative development, using customer insights and analytics to forecast needs, monitoring timelines, and potentially performing other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
  • Typically five or more years demonstrated professional experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, financial services, or related field.
  • Proven marketing development and project management experience.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and drive forward key deliverables.
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to use analytics to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communicator, highly organized, and able to build effective partnerships across functions.
  • Experience in print buying, print production, promotional products sourcing, or a related procurement role.
  • Knowledge of offset, digital, and large-format printing, as well as promotional product purchasing and production processes.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and project coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong eye for quality, brand consistency, and execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical insurance designations such as CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI considered a plus.
  • Additional licensing may be required to hold this position; and associates will need to acquire the required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the designated time period.
  • Additional licenses/registrations may be required when new products and services are implemented.
  • If an associate fails to acquire required licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit, the associate will be ineligible to continue in the position.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business.
  • Synthesizes data and uses this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutions.
  • Assists with the completion of moderate to complex projects and processes within area of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities.
  • Assists with implementation of digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development process, planning and execution.
  • Collaborates on and assists with creative development and provides feedback on look and feel.
  • Uses customer insights and analytics and tools to understand and assists in forecasting market, competitor and customer needs and behavior, helps to define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and effectively get results with data-based decisions.
  • Monitors timelines to ensure programs are on strategy and on schedule.
  • Informs leader of any discrepancies.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Source and manage print and promotional product vendors, balancing quality, cost, and deadlines.
  • Oversee the buying and production of printed materials, branded merchandise, and specialty promotional items.
  • Review proofs, product samples, press checks, and final output to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Keep projects on track with clear timelines, accurate budgets, and strong vendor communication.
  • Negotiate pricing, production schedules, and service levels to maximize value and performance.
  • Explore new printing technologies, promotional product trends, and sustainable sourcing options.
