About The Position

As a Specialist, Logistics at RXO, you will provide logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. The role supports the movement of customer loads by maintaining shipment information, monitoring pickups and deliveries, coordinating appointments, and communicating load status to relevant parties. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of the transportation industry.
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
Update account managers about problem loads and actions taken, and provide receivers and customers with load-status updates.
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries and verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
Take check calls from drivers, ensure loads are on track to deliver on time, and validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on account-manager direction.
Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers properly.
