About The Position

This role involves assisting in the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations, to support manufacturing operations. The Specialist will configure and optimize software and hardware systems, provide technical support and troubleshooting, and manage network performance and security. Responsibilities also include installing and managing software applications like ERP and MES systems, implementing data security protocols, coordinating with IT vendors, maintaining documentation, and providing training to staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, network configurations, and system administration.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean.
  • Ability to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work in a startup environment and adapt to evolving technological and business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automotive manufacturing software (ERP, MES) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations, to support manufacturing operations.
  • Configure and optimize software and hardware systems to ensure they meet the needs of the company’s automotive manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues, serving as the primary contact for resolving technical problems and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations, ensuring network security and data protection.
  • Install, configure, and manage software applications relevant to automotive manufacturing, including ERP and MES systems.
  • Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive company data and comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Prepare reports on IT performance and issues.
  • Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
