About The Position
The Specialist - Insurance - P&C Claims assesses auto insurance applications to determine coverage eligibility and appropriate policy levels, and helps clients select policies aligned with their needs and risk profiles. The role processes insurance claims in accordance with company guidelines and timelines, provides clients with clear information about policy terms, coverage, and claims procedures, and maintains accurate records for auditing and compliance. The specialist also works with internal teams to resolve client inquiries, improve service delivery, and stay current on industry regulations, policy updates, and best practices. The position is hybrid and is a day job in the United States. Candidates based in Los Angeles, California are not eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or Risk Management and Insurance, or a master's degree in Statistics.
- Skills in Claims Management, Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance, Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affair Management, and Reinsurance.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1).
Nice To Haves
- Associate in Claims (AIC) certification from The Institutes (USA).
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from ACFE.
- Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certification.
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from the Insurance Institute of America (IIA).
