About The Position

This role aids the production process by assisting in the operation of the sandpaper cut and pack machine. The Specialist III will gain and maintain general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area, complete required training measures (PQ&T), and maintain appropriate process systems, 6S, and production standards. As a Bosch Associate, you will be expected to maintain a positive work environment, follow appropriate safety procedures, and be open to assisting others throughout the department.

Requirements

Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly.
General Math skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to stand for 8 hours.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Ability to lift (up to) 40lb. boxes.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Prefer experience in machine operating.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation of the sandpaper cut and pack machine.
Gain and maintain general knowledge of machines throughout the conversion area.
Complete required training measures (PQ&T).
Maintain appropriate process systems, 6S, and production standards.
Maintain a positive work environment.
Follow appropriate safety procedures.
Assist others throughout the department.
Load rolls of sandpaper on machine as needed.
Use SAP to look up materials.
Operate pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist.
Assist in the set up and start up of the machine and operate successfully.
Assist in making adjustments to machine as needed.
Assist in the troubleshooting of machine issues and assist with repairs according to escalation plan.
Read and follow standard operating procedures pertaining to the machine being operated.
Follow the appropriate quality standards and measures for the machine being operated.
Understand and follow procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization.
Maintain knowledge of all safety procedures associated with the machine being operated.
