About The Position

The team member is responsible for performing all duties, including but not limited to dumping trays, within the Traypack department to fill customer orders. Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced by immediately addressing any safety and/or quality concerns.

Requirements

• Ability to speak English and/or Spanish, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience is preferred, but not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Dumping – Repeatedly lifting large trays of product weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing carts, and dumping into metal trays.
• Shovel product from bins into trays as needed.
• Follow correct lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Restack/orient empty trays on pallet.
• Actively look for downgrades, contamination, foreign material and report immediately as needed.
• Help maintain a clean work area.
• Help on the line (such as styling/inspecting) when not dumping product.
