About The Position

The Tray Washer is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of trays used in the food processing environment. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with food safety standards, supporting sanitation protocols, and contributing to efficient plant operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow sanitation, food safety, and safety procedures consistently
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify damaged or non-compliant trays
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull trays as required throughout the shift

Responsibilities

  • Remove residual product from trays prior to washing
  • Operate correct tray washer equipment to sanitize trays, clearing jams as necessary
  • Replace soiled trays with clean, sanitized trays to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Inspect trays for damage, wear, or defects
  • Follow all sanitation procedures, food safety standards, and company safety policies
  • Assist with the organization, storage, and handling of clean trays and related equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
