About The Position

The Maintenance Pack Specialist's primary responsibility will be all critical packing equipment, including Ishida scales, Pac-mac baggers, and Triangle baggers. The role requires the ability to travel for outside training classes, comprehend the training, and demonstrate the hands-on abilities learned. This position also involves assisting with or performing preventative and corrective tasks on process and facility equipment, requiring basic mechanical and electrical skills. The specialist must be knowledgeable in the proper use of hand and power tools, as well as special equipment tools. Daily computer tasks for updating PM and work orders are essential, with accountability for accuracy and clarity of documentation. Punctuality and adherence to all safety, general manufacturing, and food safety policies are mandatory. The role demands motivation to increase knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field.

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Knowledgeable with the proper use of hand and power tools and all special equipment tools.
  • Ability to complete daily computer tasks required to keep PM and work orders up to date.
  • Accountability for accuracy and clarity of work completed documentation, parts, causes, comments, etc.
  • Punctual and adhere to all safety policies, general manufacturing policies, and food safety guidelines.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely fashion.
  • Motivated to increase knowledge and to gain experience in all aspects of the Maintenance field.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
