About The Position

This role involves working in a team-oriented environment to pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment, with overtime as needed to meet daily/weekly shipping goals. The position requires operating equipment like forklifts and electric pallet jacks, completing daily inspections, and performing light maintenance. Key responsibilities include using a handheld RF scanner for various warehouse tasks, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining inventory integrity. The role also demands adherence to company and job-specific procedures, meeting facility standards, and performing general housekeeping duties. Collaboration with management and department personnel on key issues, and adherence to good manufacturing practices, FDA guidelines, and DEA laws are also essential. The role requires the ability to perform basic math calculations, good verbal and written skills, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Current forklift certification is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Stand-up forklift preferred.
  • Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
  • Operate forklift or other equipment for material movement within the distribution center.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports prior to operating any equipment.
  • Perform proper charging of vehicles after use and light maintenance duties.
  • Complete warehouse tasks using a handheld RF scanner (picking, replenishing, and putting away items).
  • Ensure precise data entry, verify product details, and record serial numbers to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Follow and understand all company and job-specific procedures.
  • Meet all facility standards applied within select departments.
  • Pick and stack product according to procedure and special instructions.
  • Cross-check for 100% accuracy.
  • Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as necessary.
  • Follow all safety instructions to properly load/unload trailers according to procedure.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments received, determine locations for products, and put product into available locations.
  • Work independently and proactively.
  • Communicate clearly with management and department personnel on key issues regarding returns processing.
  • Adhere to all good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines, and Drug Enforcement Laws.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Work in teams as designated (e.g., Safety, 5S, Lean).
