About The Position

This role involves working in a team-oriented environment to pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment, including working overtime as needed to meet daily/weekly shipping goals. The position requires operating a forklift or other equipment for material movement within the distribution center, completing daily vehicle inspection reports, and ensuring proper charging of vehicles. Responsibilities include performing light maintenance duties, using a handheld RF scanner for warehouse tasks (picking, replenishing, putting away items), ensuring precise data entry, verifying product details, and recording serial numbers to maintain inventory integrity. Attention to detail and adherence to company procedures are crucial for accurate order fulfillment. The role also involves following all company and job-specific procedures, meeting facility standards, picking and stacking product accurately, and verifying shipment accuracy. Additionally, the Specialist will put product into available locations, work independently and proactively, communicate key issues to management, adhere to good manufacturing practices and relevant guidelines, perform general housekeeping, and work in designated teams (e.g., Safety, 5S, Lean).

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current forklift certification required.
  • Minimum +1 years warehousing experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Stand-up forklift preferred.
  • Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, prepare, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
  • Operate forklift or other equipment for material movement.

  • Cross-check for 100% accuracy.
  • Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases.
  • Load/unload trailers according to procedure.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments received.
  • Determine locations for products and put product into available locations.
  • Work independently and proactively.
  • Communicate with management and department personnel on key issues.
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines, and Drug Enforcement Laws.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Work in designated teams (e.g., Safety, 5S, Lean).
