As the primary HR contact for all hourly and professional team members, this role supports a wide range of functions including payroll, benefits, leave of absence, investigations, training, recruiting, and employee relations. The position is responsible for executing all HR transactions at the location, managing onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with employment authorization, EEO, and AA guidelines. This includes auditing requisitions, maintaining accurate employee documentation such as I-9s, and overseeing hourly disciplinary actions and terminations at the location. The role also leads all learning and development initiatives, including annual compliance, H&D retraining, and Biosecurity and Animal Welfare training. Additionally, this position ensures the successful execution of frontline orientation and supports good faith recruiting efforts. This position plays a critical role in fostering a compliant, inclusive, and development-focused workplace.
