About The Position

The Specialist’s role is to balance the competing priorities of resource utilization and student training, ensuring the schedule is planned and executed in a manner that balances resource utilization and student progress.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Must have good people and customer service experience skills
Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people
Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn new responsibilities, adapt to change, collaborate as a team-player, and has a passion for continuous improvement
Strongly motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High degree of interpersonal skill and tact to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience preferred
Computer skills (knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word, Excel) are preferred
Associate degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Scheduling the assets according to the allocation plan
Staying up to date with scheduling tools and systems
Ensuring working knowledge of the applicable regulations, contractual framework and operational policies and procedures impacting the schedule processes
Overseeing day to day execution of the training schedule
Coordinating aircraft maintenance and ensuring available aircraft are airworthy
Aiding in the identification and resolution of resource discrepancies
Providing guidance to students and instructors regarding any required materials that may be needed before a flight
Documenting and reporting any issues that arise that may impact on the schedule, student or instructor performance, or resources
Maintaining historical data on all flights and providing necessary reporting to operations management
Ensuring each flight is completed as assigned by the company, strictly adhering to schedules, routes of flight and load manifests
Collaborating with other team members to resolve potential schedule/resource conflicts
Provide excellent customer service
