About The Position

This is a full-time, day shift position supporting the Adult Medical Step-down Unit - West 3C at West Hospital. The role involves coordinating the equipment process, including returns, repairs, and purchases, as well as preparing patient rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for new admissions. The Specialist will also be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and delivering supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be required to be Heart-saver certified within 3 months of hire.
• Must be Heart-saver certified within 3 months of hire.
• Requires basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in working with varied computer systems/programs preferred.
• Experience working with various computer systems and programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the equipment process by submitting documentation using established processes and collaborating with the appropriate personnel for return, repair or purchase of special equipment and/or related supplies.
• Anticipates and prepares equipment needs for new patient admissions to insure that the patient rooms are equipment ready for patients.
• Receives and inspects incoming supplies and equipment.
• Delivers supplies and equipment to hospital departments.
