About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating the equipment and supply process for the Adult Medical Step-down Unit - West 3C at West Hospital. The Specialist will manage documentation for equipment returns, repairs, and purchases, and ensure patient rooms are prepared with necessary equipment for new admissions. This includes receiving, inspecting, and delivering supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be required to be Heart-saver certified within 3 months of hire.
• Must be Heart-saver certified within 3 months of hire.
• Requires basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in working with varied computer systems/programs preferred.
• Experience working with various computer systems and programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the equipment process by submitting documentation using established processes and collaborating with the appropriate personnel for return, repair or purchase of special equipment and/or related supplies.
• Anticipates and prepares equipment needs for new patient admissions to insure that the patient rooms are equipment ready for patients.
• Receives and inspects incoming supplies and equipment.
• Delivers supplies and equipment to hospital departments.
