About The Position

The Employee Communications Specialist plays an integral role in bringing the Wynn Las Vegas employee experience to life through refined, purposeful, and highly engaging communications. This position is ideally suited for a polished writer, intuitive storyteller, and proactive project owner who thrives in a high-standard environment. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of internal communications that not only inform, but inspire and connect our employee community. Success in this position requires strong personal accountability, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for creating communications that are memorable, meaningful, and reflective of Wynn’s world-class culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in internal communications, journalism, public relations, corporate communications, or a related discipline
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong editorial sensibility
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver with precision and accountability
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong professional communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and present effectively in English
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Flexibility to adapt schedule based on business and operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling internal communications and storytelling initiatives that elevate the employee experience and embody the Wynn brand
  • Lead projects end-to-end, overseeing concept development, timelines, approvals, and seamless execution
  • Conduct thoughtful employee interviews to develop authentic, engaging, and impactful content
  • Design and adapt communication materials across print and digital platforms in alignment with brand standards
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to support employee campaigns, programs, and events
  • Develop and execute social media strategies supporting employee engagement initiatives
  • Oversee the placement, presentation, and distribution of communication materials across back-of-house environments, ensuring a polished and cohesive appearance
  • Strategically manage the communications calendar, recommending optimal channels, timing, and messaging approaches
  • Publish and maintain content across internal platforms, ensuring all communications are timely, accurate, and impeccably presented
  • Support the execution of employee-focused events and initiatives that reinforce Wynn’s culture and values
