About The Position

The Specialist of Employee Communications is instrumental in elevating Wynn Las Vegas’ renowned employee culture through thoughtfully crafted storytelling, refined visual communications, and immersive event support. This position curates and delivers compelling narratives and brand-aligned content that celebrates the employee experience while reinforcing the organization’s culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, ideally within a luxury or hospitality-driven environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas in a refined, professional, and engaging manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with precision, while maintaining an uncompromising attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong eye for design and layout
  • Ability to pivot seamlessly, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver results under evolving priorities
  • Maintains a polished, well-groomed appearance reflective of Wynn’s luxury standards
  • Upholds the highest level of discretion and consistently exercises sound professional judgment
  • Thrives in a team-oriented environment, communicates proactively, and keeps leadership informed with clarity and confidence
  • Able to work a dynamic schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with departmental and event needs

Responsibilities

  • Compose elevated short- and long-form copy for the employee storytelling program and internal communications, ensuring a polished, engaging, and brand-consistent voice.
  • Leverage established templates and brand standards to design sophisticated graphics supporting employee events, campaigns, and internal initiatives.
  • Lead the development of storytelling content by conducting interviews, gathering meaningful insights, and validating information to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and emotional resonance.
  • Partner with internal teams and external partners to strategically promote employee events and initiatives through both print and digital communication channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the employee video specialist to concept and storyboard content, while supporting on-site filming to bring stories to life.
  • Provide meticulous copyediting support to ensure all communications reflect clarity, precision, and the elevated standards of the Wynn brand.
  • Assist in maintaining the employee communications calendar, offering thoughtful input on messaging strategy, channels, and timing to maximize engagement.
  • Publish and manage content across internal communication platforms, maintaining consistency, timeliness, and quality.
  • Ensure all communications authentically represent Wynn’s culture, values, and Forbes-level service standards.
  • Assist in the seamless execution of employee events, including setup, on-site coordination, and post-event breakdown, ensuring a flawless experience.
