About The Position

Parkinson Canada is seeking a Specialist, Email and Website Management for a 14-month contract. This role reports to the Manager, Brand Marketing and is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of the organization's email marketing program, as well as supporting website content management. The specialist will manage the email marketing calendar, coordinate campaigns for various audiences, and ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand and strategic priorities. They will also maintain the website, ensuring it remains engaging, accessible, and effective in supporting fundraising, advocacy, education, and community engagement initiatives. This is a remote role based anywhere in Canada, with occasional travel for team meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience planning, building, testing, and deploying email marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, responsive design, accessibility, deliverability, and performance measurement.
  • Experience updating website content using a content management system and web platforms like Wordpress, Wix, and Squarespace.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, and coordinate requests from different stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn new tools and refine processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead email marketing execution, including planning, building, testing, deploying, and optimizing email campaigns.
  • Manage the email marketing calendar and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain website content, ensuring it is current, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand and communications strategy.
  • Publish web page updates and blogs, and support campaign launches.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Marketing & Communications and other teams to coordinate campaigns and manage priorities.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance on timelines and recommend best practices for digital initiatives.
