About The Position

Primarily responsible for managing the TimeClock Plus (TCP) system in relation to the Payroll Department, as well as coordinating with other software systems (Enterprise ERP) to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, college hours preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise ERP and TimeClock Plus (TCP)
  • Ability to work within deadlines and handle frequent interruptions
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills
  • General understanding of payroll and accounting terminology and procedures
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in the following: calculator, personal computer, Microsoft Excel
  • Detail oriented
  • Work with confidential material

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing TimeClock Plus (TCP) payroll processes and enhancements for the Payroll Department and TimeClock Plus (TCP) managers.
  • Serving as the liaison between TimeClock Plus/Technology for all Payroll department TimeClock Plus (TCP)-related functions.
  • Addressing and resolving all TimeClock Plus (TCP) conversion and enhancement issues.
  • Managing TimeClock Plus (TCP) manager communications and training.
  • Closing TimeClock Plus weeks before processing payroll, including identifying exceptions and notifying campuses/departments of any errors.
  • Processing absences and substitutes including, but not limited to: Payroll export, Correcting errors to ensure accuracy, Executing the process to verify that all absences and substitutes have been recorded, Validating and making any necessary changes to absences, Executing the electronic process for the comp time file, Generating the comp time earned export, Manually importing calculated earned comp time and straight time to ensure the time displayed in TimeClock Plus (TCP) is accessible to employees.
  • Assisting coworkers with other TimeClock Plus (TCP) related payroll duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
