About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) at L3Harris ForceX serves as an Agile Product Owner, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team. The BSA is responsible for setting the product vision, prioritizing work, and accepting completed tasks to ensure the vision is realized. They communicate stakeholder requirements and feature requests to the software development team, working closely with Systems Engineers, Solution Architects, and software engineering teams to break down requirements into product backlog items within the Agile software development lifecycle. The BSA collaborates directly with Program Managers to track software and other deliverables, ensuring scope and schedule adherence by creating and maintaining a Release Plan. BSAs interface directly with stakeholders and vendors, possess an operational, high-level understanding of the software product and its system interfaces, and can support technical stakeholder meetings, integration events, and ground/flight test events. They troubleshoot issues and work with Systems Engineering to integrate new hardware and support existing hardware functionality. The Specialist BSA supports a program or product team in the Agile development lifecycle by developing a backlog of work items and ensuring the final product meets stakeholder expectations. They develop and communicate the product vision to the team and track development progress to meet customer deliverables on time. The Senior Specialist BSA interfaces directly with stakeholders and may travel up to 10% to support technical, program, and field or test events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business field
  • 2 years of prior related experience in Agile/Scrum development and strong ability to manage release commitments and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Effectively support customer-facing technical/program activities.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, integration/test workflows, and release governance.
  • Familiarity with tactical data links, DoD voice/data radios, and EO/IR sensor integration contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision, roadmap, and backlog priorities; translate customer requirements into epics and user stories.
  • Coordinate directly with customers, systems engineering, architecture, and software teams to drive feature delivery and defect resolution.
  • Support integration and test events, including up to 10% travel, and maintain eligibility to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning inputs, story acceptance, and demo/review preparation.
