About The Position

The BOM/EO Control Specialist establishes and administers the Production Control Working Group and manages all areas of the BOM/EO. The role serves as the initial point of contact for customer HMGMA Engineering Changes involving BOMs and coordinates EO implementation with planning departments. The position works with internal and external stakeholders, including the Korea R&D Team, and supports SAP and MES production-control processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Zero to three years of experience in Just in Sequence production control in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• SAP PP/MM knowledge or experience.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for customer HMGMA Engineering Changes that include BOMs.
• Manage SAP Material Master records, including creating part numbers and maintaining MRP views, work centers, routings, production versions, standard costs, and module numbers.
• Maintain SAP PP module processes and implementation, including LTP, MRP, PIR, backlog, and production-result adjustment completion for components.
• Maintain production BOMs in SAP and MES, including part numbers, material information, and effective point information.
• Track material consumption for material closing and inventory accuracy on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain and distribute the PART LIST MASTER to all departments.
• Track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items.
• Follow up with the IT team on SAP system improvements from a user standpoint.
• Coordinate EO implementation with all planning departments.
• Manage EO part changes, including EO alerts, first-sequence recording, and internal and external EO communications.
• Manage EO information by participating in internal and external EO meetings and tracking upcoming EPI.
• Maintain EO systems, including G-EPI and SAP.
• Collaborate and communicate with the Korea R&D Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
