About The Position

The purpose of the Beverage/Chemical Specialist is to develop a customer base through acquiring new accounts and achieving sales growth in the Beverage/Chemical categories while maintaining current relationships with existing customers and supporting the DSR in selling Beverage/Chemical items and in product knowledge. This role involves representing Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, and adhering to the dress code. The specialist will maintain existing relationships with Beverage/Chemical clients and develop new accounts. They will also work with the sales team to help develop knowledge of Beverage/Chemical items and assist with growing sales, while representing Ben E. Keith Foodservice and the branch Beverage/Chemical department with a positive and highly motivated attitude and uncompromised character.

Requirements

Ability to write reports, correspondence and communications.
Ability to effectively present information to vendors and employees in a written and/or verbal format
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time and appropriately using equipment, facilities and materials to provide timely and quality responses
Ability to learn and use all Ben E. Keith applications
Two years of outside sales and knowledge relative to Beverage/Chemical products
Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, internet and email; willingness to learn new software as needed
Valid Texas driver’s license is required for driving to perform company business
High School diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities
