About The Position

The purpose of the Beverage/Chemical Specialist is to develop a customer base through acquiring new accounts and achieving sales growth in the Beverage/Chemical categories while maintaining current relationships with existing customers and supporting the DSR in selling Beverage/Chemical items and in product knowledge. Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and follow dress code. Maintain existing relationships of Beverage/Chemical clients and develop new accounts. Work with sales team to help develop knowledge of Beverage/Chemical items and assist with growing sales. Represent Ben E. Keith Foodservice and the branch Beverage/Chemical department and maintain a positive and highly motivated attitude and uncompromised character.

Requirements

• Ability to write reports, correspondence and communications.
• Ability to effectively present information to vendors and employees in a written and/or verbal format
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time and appropriately using equipment, facilities and materials to provide timely and quality responses
• Ability to learn and use all Ben E. Keith applications
• Two years of outside sales and knowledge relative to Beverage/Chemical products
• Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, internet and email; willingness to learn new software as needed
• Valid Texas driver’s license is required for driving to perform company business
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
