About The Position
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking qualified applicants for the position: Specialist, Accounts Payable Located: Arlington Summary We are seeking a Specialist, Accounts Payable to join our Accounting team. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. This position is in-office.
Requirements
- 2 or more years experience with accounts payable
- Experience using Coupa and SAP S/4 HANA
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Coupa is a plus
- Experience using SAP S/4 HANA is a plus
- Experience managing SAP primary data and Business Partner records
Responsibilities
- Support the accounts payable function through a variety of operational activities including vendor invoice processing in Coupa, SAP S/4 HANA data entry, invoice account and cost center coding, vendor and internal inquiry resolution, shared AP mailbox management, and pay cycle support
- Assist with monthly accounting activities, reconciliations, and other month-end close responsibilities, as assigned
- Create, maintain, and manage SAP primary data structures, including Business Partner records
- Support multiple Venture Global business areas, including Corporate, Operations, Construction, and Shipping entities
- Participate in system testing, process improvements, and special projects as needed
- Perform data analysis and support corrective action implementation to improve process accuracy and efficiency
- Recommend process and procedural improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and streamline workflows
- Support annual 1099 reporting activities
- Perform additional duties and support other business needs as assigned
