Job Summary The Accounting Specialist II (Accounts Payable) role supports our finance team and is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large ERP software packages, Oracle preferred.
  • Detail oriented.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
  • Prepare and execute check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
  • Assist with month-end closing and provide support for audits.
