Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate changing priorities while managing multiple projects effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Service-oriented mindset with a positive demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and understand the importance of accountability and trust within a team environment.
• Associate's degree in business administration or the equivalent experience.
• Four (4) or more years of prior accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of electronic receiving systems.

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Navigating various receiving system exports.
• Validating financial data for integrity.
• Preparing month-end accruals.
• Reconciling accounts to the general ledger.
• Assisting in the month-end closing process.
• Managing payment processing for checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
• Maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
• Mentoring and training accounting staff.
• Improving processes.
• Engaging with both internal and external customers.
• Ensuring timely processing.
• Supporting audit fieldwork for operational and financial audits.
