About The Position

Oversee DBJ's special reports, including awards, growth summits, etc. Represent DBJ newsroom in coordinating with events team. Interact with and interview North Texas CEOs and business leaders. Aid rest of editing team with publishing of digital and print coverage. Work with editors, reporters and other stakeholders to complete current special projects and also plan and execute new ones.

Requirements

• Digital writing and publishing skills
• Ability to manage several projects at once
• Creative planner who embraces ambitious engagement metrics without sacrificing attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a collaborative, high-energy environment
• Excellent headline-writing and copy-editing skills

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area is a plus
