This position cleans by hand, solvent bath, or other processes, sub-assemblies, parts and manufactured items. Has knowledge of cleaning agents used, and strips paint and other contaminants from above. Required to use blasting equipment for surface preparation. Carries out electro plating / conversion processes, and chemical processes.

Requirements

Knowledge and/or work experience in the areas of poke welding braze shims; braze alloy materials and application; induction brazing; manual hand cleaning of parts; chemical conversion coating of aluminum and titanium.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Knowledge of WHMIS.
Ability to work within specified safety requirements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to meet the visual acuity requirements specified in QSP 12.0 for Special Process Operators (chemical, painter, etc.).
Must be able to wear a respirator as required.

Responsibilities
