Process Operator
About The Position
AGP is looking for Process Operators at our new Degumming facility in David City, NE! Ag Processing Inc. is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting of oilseeds, grains, and related products. Since our creation in 1983, AGP has grown in size, scope, and reputation – both in the U.S. and internationally. Our company has become the largest soybean processing cooperative in the world and has a diverse set of products, which includes renewable fuels, vegetable oil refining, ag products/grain, and international operations.
Requirements
- Available to work rotating days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Basic math skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Detail-oriented and able to make good decisions.
- Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipment.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery, adjust controls, and observe equipment operations.
- Collect samples using standard operating procedures.
- Maintain log of gauge readings and shift production.
- Clean production area and perform periodic routine maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
