About The Position

The Special Night Custodian performs after-hours cleaning and reset work in child-development, youth, and other special-use facilities. This role requires discipline, reliability, strong attention to detail, and strict adherence to approved products and room-reset standards.

Requirements

• Custodial or housekeeping experience preferred; reliability and work quality are essential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain installation access and pass customer-required background screening.
• Ability to complete any additional records checks, fingerprinting, training, or health documentation required for child-program assignment.
• Ability to follow detailed room-by-room instructions and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in childcare, school, healthcare, or other sanitation-sensitive settings.
• Experience with microfiber systems, restroom resets, and detailed closeout cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Complete after-hours cleaning, sanitizing, restroom reset, and stock replenishment in assigned special-use facilities.
• Use only approved products, equipment, and procedures for child-program spaces.
• Document completion of assigned tasks and report any deficiencies or safety concerns before leaving the route.
• Protect room setup, furnishings, and occupant-use patterns during cleaning.
• Support periodic floor care or special cleaning tasks in approved windows.
