About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Special Needs Job Coach to join their team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves working one-on-one to provide job coaching and training to individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) in a general work setting. The job coach will assist individuals in exploring, seeking, choosing, acquiring, and maintaining employment. BAYADA emphasizes investing in people, nurturing growth, and fostering a caring team environment.

Requirements

One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD)
High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
ACRE Certification required
CESP

Responsibilities

Empowering an individual to obtain meaningful employment
Assist with enhancing job skills by monitoring progress through documentation
Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities
Advocating for inclusion on the job and reasonable accommodations for the individual
Making an impact on the community
