JOB COACH - SPECIAL NEEDS

About The Position
This is a seasonal position beginning in June and continuing for 10 weeks. Potential summer earnings are $4,800 (less applicable taxes). The Job Coach supports teens and young adults with special needs in developing independence, social, and vocational skills through camp activities, community outings, and on-site job experiences. Works with small groups of campers (3:1 ratio), helping breakdown tasks, build job readiness skills, and promote successful participation.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Complete First Aid/CPR and required safety training
- Pass a background check
- Be able to stay active outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working with children
- Physical ability to supervise and assist campers - including in emergency situations
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with teens and individuals with special needs preferred
