Special Needs Caregiver - Urgently Hiring!
About The Position
24 Hour Home Care is seeking empathetic and attentive caregivers to provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). In this role, you will follow individualized client care plans, provide periodic progress updates to the care team, and offer services such as personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. These services are non-medical. 24 Hour Home Care has been a trusted in-home care company for over 15 years, committed to making a positive impact and redefining what it means to care.
Requirements
- AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF DISABILITY CAREGIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Great communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s)
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel to different cities highly desired
Responsibilities
