About The Position
BAYADA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, accompanying them on errands and appointments, and facilitating community integration. The position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a supportive work environment. BAYADA is a long-standing home health care provider with a commitment to its care team.
Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
- Participate in community integration activities.
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home/community
