Special Inspector, ICC-Certified
About The Position
Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Special Inspector to join their growing team in Central and Northern California. This role involves performing routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. The Special Inspector will also perform routine laboratory tests on soils and concrete, including compaction curves and concrete compressive strength tests. The role requires daily interaction with owner and contractor teams, preparation of daily reports and data sheets, and performing various tasks to meet client project goals. Requirements
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- Radiation Safety & Nuclear Density Gauge Operation Training (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- Must be able to use a computer.
- General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to travel throughout the Bay Area of California.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities
