About The Position

The Special Events Staff position assists with event setup, event operations, and park maintenance activities at parks and facilities throughout the district. Responsibilities include event setup and breakdown, site preparation and cleanup, moving equipment and barricades, assisting with day-of event operations, and providing customer service to event attendees. This position also supports general park and facility maintenance activities such as litter collection, restroom cleaning, basic landscaping, and minor repairs while working closely with staff, volunteers, vendors, artists, and patrons. The district is currently hiring for one (1) Events Staff position.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in park or landscape maintenance or event logistics preferred
  • Experience in event production desired
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
