About The Position

SP+ is hiring a Special Events Flagger to work at sports and entertainment events. The role involves interacting with customers, directing them to parking, and helping manage traffic. Employees are expected to maintain a neat appearance and wear a complete uniform during scheduled shifts. The job may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education, or one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, including performing these operations using American money.
• Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear a complete uniform.
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions, including cold, rainy, snowy, harsh, hot, and humid weather.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Answer customer questions promptly and courteously.
• Inform customers of the parking rate.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear a complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
• Give customers directions to various locations in the area.
• Report unknown, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to supervisors.
