About The Position

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a Special Education Vocational Facilitator to support students with disabilities throughout Wake County. As part of our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, you'll work with students ages 14-22 as they develop workplace readiness and practical life skills while preparing for greater independence after high school.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel between Wake County school sites
• Ability to complete a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction and student activities
• Work with students individually and in small groups
• Prepare lesson materials and hands-on activities
• Encourage participation and skill development
• Maintain program documentation and assist with billing
• Collaborate with instructors and school staff
• Travel between assigned high schools throughout Wake County
