About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom in Illinois with approximately 10 students. The classroom primarily serves students with autism, including learners who need intensive support. The teacher will create a structured, encouraging environment where students can develop skills, work toward personalized goals, and make progress.

The role involves delivering individualized instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), abilities, and educational goals. The teacher will establish predictable routines, use positive behavioral strategies, monitor academic and developmental progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP planning and collaboration with the school team. The schedule is 8:30 AM–3:40 PM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction and maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Special Education endorsement.
