About The Position
Shafter Elementary is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for grades K-6. The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers. A Bachelor's Degree is the minimum qualification for this position, unless it's a designated Career and Technology Education (CTE) position. If hired without a completed Teacher's Education Program, you will have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in a program to continue employment. You must demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements annually. Upon hire, a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit is required. Requirements
