About The Position

As a Teacher II at KVC Academy, you will provide high-quality education and support to students in a nurturing environment that emphasizes learning and healing. The role works closely with students with Autism, including students who are non-verbal and have high support needs. Small class sizes support individualized instruction and assistance with daily living skills such as toileting, while fostering communication, independence, and emotional growth. Students receive personalized care and structure to support their academic and developmental progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• State of Missouri license to teach.
• Special Education Certification; Learning Behavior Specialist Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years old to apply.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality education and support to students in a nurturing environment.
• Deliver individualized instruction to students with Autism, including those who are non-verbal and have high support needs.
• Assist students with daily living skills such as toileting.
