About The Position
Nyman Associates is an educational services provider specializing in school-based and early intervention therapy services. The Special Education Teacher provides developmental support and educational services to students with learning delays or disabilities. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the teacher conducts assessments, develops individualized intervention plans, and implements strategies to support students’ growth and learning. Nyman Associates offers a variety of placement opportunities tailored to teachers’ interests, preferred age groups, and schedules, along with support and professional development.
Requirements
- State Department of Education Certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide student support.
- Plan programs of study that meet students’ individual needs, interests, and abilities.
- Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Manage the classroom.

- Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and implement strategies to support students’ development and learning.
